Meet The Coach
Born and raised in Ireland, Johnny grew up playing a variety of sports before discovering his passion for endurance racing, particularly triathlons. He competes regularly in running and triathlon events and earned his coaching qualification from the United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy (UESCA).
Now based in Vancouver, Johnny founded Rising Endurance to help athletes of all levels achieve their endurance goals—from running their first 5K to completing an Ironman. With a structured and personalized coaching approach, he tailors training to each athlete’s unique needs, ensuring they build endurance, improve performance, and reach their full potential.
Through Rising Endurance, Johnny offers customized training plans, performance testing, and one-on-one coaching to help athletes train smarter, recover better, and perform at their best.
